New York City native Larry Slade
has been a California licensed attorney since 1999.
Having worked on both sides of the fence – general
business and law – he has a unique perspective
on conflict resolution, civil and
criminal litigation, government relations, trial advocacy,
and team and project management.
He launched Slade Law in 2004 after working for several
years for a prominent Los Angeles firm as a litigator,
where he successfully tried a wide array of cases involving
contracts, labor and employee relations, real estate, trusts
and general business disputes.
Prior to moving to California, Slade was Assistant
State Attorney with the Dade County State Attorney’s
Office in |
| Miami. In Miami he
earned an impressive trial win record of 90%,
prosecuting over 175 bench and 50 jury trials to verdict, while
at the same time earning recognition for his ethical approach
to criminal prosecution in the Misdemeanor, Juvenile and Felony
Courts.
A graduate of Pace University School of Law (1994), Slade
participated in the school’s rigorous Prosecution of Domestic
Violence Clinical Program, administered in association with
the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and was the
first student in Pace University’s history to successfully
convict the defendant in a domestic violence jury trial.
What sets Slade apart from other lawyers
is a varied, successful career as a business man, in addition
to his experience as an attorney.
In the past he has organized sales training and business
development seminars for Fortune 500 companies; served as
a marketing director, and ultimately was Vice President of
Sales and marketing of a successful startup company (60 employees,
over $50 million in annual revenues).
He also owned Echo Post, a 1,500-square-foot post-production
facility that he grew to an 11,000-square-foot multimedia
operation. All of his business experience and insight
gives Slade a unique perspective to better serve his legal
clientele.

Jung Park, Associate Attorney

 |
Jung Park has been a California
licensed attorney since 1996. After working as a law clerk
and paralegal, she opened her own practice in 1998 in the
San Francisco which focused on family law, immigration,
workers’ compensation,
criminal defense, insurance and conservatorship cases.
A
move to Los Angeles brought Park to a high profile civil
litigation firm where she handled personal injury, wrongful
death, employment discrimination and medical malpractice
cases.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Park also provided
legal consultations at the Mexican Consulate. |
Today she is
an associate attorney at Slade Law. A graduate of UC Davis
School of Law and Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges (undergraduate),
Park has a long history of advocacy (for consumers, the homeless
and immigrants, among others).
Like Slade, Park has had a
varied professional career and, in addition to her work as
a lawyer, has worked for Kaiser Permanente in their Educational
Theater Program (educating high school students about HIV/AIDS)
and as a peer counselor.
She has extensive computer knowledge
and in addition to being fluent in Spanish, she has a working
knowledge of the French and Korean languages. Park’s varied
background allows her to bring a broad, world-view to her
approach as an attorney. |
